Yana Smolin is an experienced CPA, who has worked on a wide range of clients, from public SEC filers to small businesses to individuals. Knowledgeable in both tax and audit, she uses her expertise to help clients build the best financial and tax plan for their individual needs. Yana graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Sacramento, where she received her Bachelor of Science with a concentration in accounting. After graduating Sacramento State, she worked as an auditor for PwC, where she worked across a variety of industries including aerospace and defense, financial institutions, and not-for-profit entities. While working at PwC, she received her CPA license from the California Board of Accountancy. Yana later took a position as the Senior Tax Accountant for a tax firm in Sacramento, Complete Business Services. Currently, she is the sole owner of Smolin & Co, CPA, focusing on tax and audit for small businesses. Yana is married and has four children. She serves as Treasurer of the Eureka Schools Foundation, a nonprofit that raises money for the Eureka Schools District, where her children go to school. Yana also serves on the audit committee for her church. As a first-generation immigrant she takes great pride in growing her small business and wants to help other small businesses grow and succeed as well.
